TONIGHT IN CHICAGO:
Sir Bonnie “Prince” Billy and The Cairo Gang will be performing an absolutely free concert in Millennium Park as part of Chicago’s free Monday night concert series. Bonnie “Prince” Billy has been performing in a multitude of capacities for around 25 years recording more albums then you can even possibly name earning him quite the following as well as numerous accolades. If you’ve never had the opportunity to see him perform, now is the time!
This free Chicago summer concert series is now in it’s third year. It’s good to see despite being broke as all get out, the city is still funding some worthwhile music and art events.
The show begins at 6:30 with the Eleventh Dream Day, a local Chicago mainstay, performing songs from the first new studio album in five years. Should be interesting!

…happy new-music-Friday (the 13th). today i bring you this jammer from Boston’s SNEEZE. the song is called “Liver” and it is from their just released, debut 7inch EP titled “Grandma In The Trenches”. they are a pretty new band and feature homie Derek from L’antietam playing guitar and singing. they are also about to head on their first U.S. tour (so check them out if they are gonna be near your hood).

anyways, this 7inch EP was put out by Bear Records and is available for purchase now by clicking HERE. the record has 8 tracks and each come with a digital download card.
